Review, Swatches of Rebel and Diva by Mac

Today I would like to share with you and review my two favorite lipsticks by Mac for fall and winter: Rebel and Diva by Mac. I listed the links where you can buy the lippsticks down below.

The names Diva (on the left of pic. 2) and Rebel (on the right of pic. 2) perfectly suit the colors. They are both absolutely eye-catching and feminine.

Rebel, in my opinion, is one of the most adorable fuchsia-berry shades. When you first open the lipstick you might be scared at first, because it looks so overwhelmingly dark, purple and (at least for me) not suitable for daily use. But when you apply it, you might be positively surprised by this stunning lipstick:

The lipstick actually looks completely different when you apply it. It is not as dark as seems to be at first sight.
It is very easy to apply, smooth and has a silky sheen. Even though the texture is very creamy when applying it, the lipstick doesn't move out of your lips and stays for hours.

Diva is an absolutely adorable winter color as well and probably my favorite lipstick ever. It is more like a dark burgundy shade. The texture is not as creamy as Rebel's is but more matte.

If you love matte colors than this is definitely the one to go with since it doesn't shine at all and doesn't dry out your lips too much. In my opinion, this is also the perfect color to wear with a little black dress or an elegant jumpsuit. Here's some swatches of both lipsticks so that you can decide which color you prefer:

I also like wearing Diva and Rebel on a daily basis and apply less color to make the lipsticks look more natural:

My five must-have Louis Vuitton Purses

Maybe you ask yourself: Is she really doing a blog entry on her purses? ☺ Yes, I am. I actually love ♥love♥ ♥love♥ purses ☺☺. Especially LV purses..
So, if you don't like these kinds of entries, then you don't have to read this. But if you adore purses such as me: keep reading ☺.  I hope you like my must-have purses and feel free to leave comments below or if you have questions -  I will answer them for sure ;) I will list down the links where you can buy the bags - if still available.

1. A CLUTCH

The first purse I chose is my ♥♥ Louis Vuitton Pochette in Black Epi Leather ♥♥ - the old model. I think it's always good to have a clutch in your collection since clutches are very handy but give you enough room to store all your essentials. They are just the perfect companions for going out in the evenings or if you don't want to take too much stuff.

I especially love this pochette because it is black and matches all my outfits. You can either dress is up or dress it down. When I go out, e.g. for dinner or to a disco, I use this purse with a chain to make it look dressier. But you can also use this purse as a small crossbody purse when you're running errands, you want to have your hands free and don't want to take too much stuff with you. You only need to attach a longer strap to the purse. I absolutely love this option.

2. A CAREFREE AND BAD WEATHER PURSE

The second purse which I absolutely love is my ♥♥ Louis Vuitton Rivington GM in Damier Ebene  Canvas ♥♥. It is such a good sized bag and is definitely carefree. It is a medium-size purse which really holds a lot. I especially love the beautiful details, the treated leather and the ebene canvas.
In matter of size I would compare it to the Speedy 30. In my opinion, however, the Rivington GM is a tote bag version of the Speedy. It has the shape of a bowling bag but has longer straps so that you can use it as a shoulder bag.
I always pick this purse when it's raining or snowing. I can just walk around and I don't have to worry about my bag.

3. A BIG BAG FOR WORK, TRAVEL....

The third bag which I absolutely adore is my ♥♥ Louis Vuitton Palermo GM in Monogram Canvas ♥♥. Sometimes a girl just needs a really big bag☺. When I decided on buying a big bag I wanted a bag which looks very classy, feminine and stylish. I wanted a zipper, a crossbody option and a bag that is big but doesn't look too big. So I went to the store and the SA showed my the Palermo GM: It was love at first sight! The bag holds a ton! I use it as a briefcase or as a weekender, because I can store so many things inside. I especially recommend this purse to all stylish mums who haven't already chosen on a diaper bag.

4. A LADY-LIKE PURSE

My forth must-have LV purse is tadaaaa (drum roll): the classic ♥♥ Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in Monogram Canvas ♥♥. I think I do not have to say a lot about this purse. In my opinion, every girl needs a speedy. I love the soft handles and the feminine style of the purse. In my opinion, you're always well-dressed when you carry such a classic.♥♥♥

5. A SUMMER PURSE

Last but not least is my ♥♥ Louis Vuitton Totally PM in Damier Azur Canvas ♥♥. Since it is winter here in Germany, my totally pm is currently hibernating in her dust bag. But when spring will come, she will definitely come out, too ☻. In my opinion, the totally is one of the most beautiful purses LV has ever created.♥
In matter of size I would say the totally pm looks very similar to the speedy 30 or the rivington gm. However, it doesn't hold so much, just because of the shape.

Natural Winter Make-Up

My December favorites.....

Pic. 1: December favorites

Today I would like to share with you my December favorites and show you a very natural and fresh everyday make-up........♥♥
I listed all the products I was using down below ♥

The products I was using....

I used "Natur pur" by Charlotte Meentzen, which is a German product, as my everyday face cream to moisturize my skin. I had been looking for the perfect face cream for a long time and finally found this one. I absolutely love this product since it is very economical, prevents spots and smells so good. I particularly recommend it to everyone who has a very sensitive skin.

Pic. 3: Natur pur by Charlotte Meentzen & Smashbox Primer

As a Primer I'm using the "Photo Finish Foundation Primer" by Smashbox. It is very smooth, makes your skin absolutely soft, gives your face a better pigmentation and, not forgetting, your make-up really stays all day long. During the daytime I particularly apply it under my eyes to make my concealer last. If you want to try out this product you need to use it sparingly since it is very economical.

On an everyday basis I do not use a foundation because I have a pretty clear complexion and I like the natural look of my skin. I only do a little bit of highlighting and contouring to add a little bit more volume to my face. I highlight my under eye area with the "Fit me concealer" by Maybelline in Nr. 10 - light and I highlight the inner corner of my eyes with the "Wonder pencil" by NYX in the color WP01 light as well. To contour my cheakbone, my forehead and my chin, I use the color "faint", which you can find in the "Naked Basics palette" by Urban Decay. I really love this color since it is very matt and gives your face a natural contouring.

For my lips I use the lipliner pencil by Essence in the color "12 Wish me a Rose"and the "Matte Lipstick" by NYX in the color "natural". I absolutely love this color. It is some kind of berry-pink and it has become my favorite everyday lipstick duo for fall and winter. I also used "natural"  by NYX for my blush because I love matching lipstick and blush.

Pic. 5: Lipstick and Lipliner

I did my whole eye-make-up with the "Naked Basics Palette" by Urban Decay and the "Perfect Volume Mascara" by Artdeco. The palette consists of mostely matt colors, which are perfect for a natural everyday makeup, only "venus" is a little bit shimmering.

To add a little bit more definition to my eyebrows, I used the color "faint" (which is the fifth color) and applied it with an eyeliner pencil to my eyebrows. On my lid I applied "foxy"(which is the second color) and "w.o.s"(which is the third color) and blended the two colors. On my inner crease I applied "naked 2"(which is the forth color) and on my outter crease I applied "faint" and blended it all in with a blending brush. To highlight the area under my eyebrows I used the shimmering color "venus" (which ist the first color). Since I wanted to get a really natural look, I used "faint" as an eyeliner and blended it all in.

I highly recommend you the Naked Basics Palette if you like natural and matt colors. The pigmentation is, in my opinion, just perfect.

I hope you like this look and be free to leave comments below.I'm really looking forward to your feedback.
